The unique decor of the hotel rooms captivated me, and the attentive staff made our stay feel warm and welcoming. However, street noise disrupted our early mornings, making it difficult to rest completely.

    historical charm

The hotel’s historical charm truly captivated me, with its tall ceilings and beautiful chandeliers creating an enchanting ambiance.

However, the rooftop was closed for events, which limited some of the relaxation opportunities that I was looking for.

    unique character
    beautiful views
    traditional dishes
    overwhelmed staff
    quirky bathroom
    ineffective air conditioning

Staying at Casa Pedro Loza felt like stepping back in time. The historic charm really captivated me. high ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and a rooftop terrace made for incredible views. The breakfast was delightful, featuring plenty of traditional Mexican dishes that fueled my day. I loved that my room had its own unique character, and the experience definitely had a rustic vibe. However, my excitement was tempered by a couple of issues. The air conditioning wasn't very effective, which made it tough to find a comfortable temperature in my room. There were small quirks like a cracked window and a toilet seat too close to the sink that felt off. The staff, while friendly, seemed a bit overwhelmed. there were times when I felt they could have been more attentive to my needs. I could see the hotel shines during events like weddings, but as a guest, I noticed that regular guest experiences seemed secondary. It’s a beautiful place, but a few adjustments could elevate the entire stay.

Staying here felt like a family adventure! We loved exploring the nearby Degollado Theater and Hospicio Cabanas. The area is vibrant, and our little dog enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Every morning, the breakfast was a delight, fueling our days with amazing flavors.

My wife says that the air conditioning could be improved.

Enchanting historical ambiance and delicious breakfast

Staying here felt like a journey back in time, with tall ceilings and stunning chandeliers creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. The breakfast selection was delightful, particularly the huevos rancheros, making each morning a treat. However, the air conditioning could use some improvement for better comfort during warmer days.

    fine design
    wonderful ambiance

The hotel has a fine design, a real blast from the past. The breakfast was solid, they served plenty of traditional Mexican options, and the ambiance really transported me back in time. The rooftop terrace is just fantastic for evening relaxation. I couldn’t help but admire the lovely Spanish Colonial style throughout the building, it’s something that sticks with you.

Wasn’t cheap, but it was tolerable.

    Charming historical vibe

I loved the old-world charm here! The tall ceilings and candles created such a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was super tasty, especially the huevos rancheros. Just watch out for the shower. it didn't have the best pressure. The location is perfect for exploring the city too!
